Open to all Junior crews. It is expected that all crews that reached the "A" Final at National Schools in Championship 8's would not race this event and would race either Tier 2 or Championship 8's. Only overseas 2nd boats will be allowed to race in this event, all others boats are be expected to race in either the Championship or Tier 2 event.

As defined by BUCS - Only open to student-athletes who have taken up the sport - on the water (regardless of their discipline) after 1 June of the preceding academic year. Composite crews allowed
